The details of the Indian Premier League Format:
Ten teams are split into two groups of five in the Indian Premier League (IPL) format. Group allocation and fixture scheduling are determined through a random draw.
In the group stage, each team plays 14 matches: twice against the other four teams in their group (home and away), once against four teams from the other group, and twice against one team from the other group.
The IPL Points Table awards 2 points for a win, 1 point for a draw or no result, and no points for a loss.
