Learn About India's Waste to Wealth Mission and the Swachhta Sarathi Fellowship Know what is India's Waste to Wealth Mission? Following the success of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan , India is now taking steps to move beyond just managing waste and pollution, and transforming them into sources of energy and progress. The name of this mission is Waste to Wealth Mission. It has been started under the Prime Minister's Science, Technology, and Innovation Advisory Council (PMSTIAC). Its aim is to achieve social and economic benefits for 130 crore people of the country with the help of technology. With this we will also be able to deal with problems like waste disposal, poor air quality and increasing pollution of water sources. This mission is being carried forward by the Office of the Chief Scientific Advisor to the Government.
